The Nations Favourite Dress

Mathilda Rose’s new designer Stephanie Allin was very proud and extremely excited to have been asked by Brides Magazine to create ‘The Nations Favourite Dress’.

Brides Magazine gave their readers the opportunity to vote on every aspect of the dress. They chose their favourite shape, neckline, fabric, detail, train length and colour. Stephanie was given the task of interpreting the results and creating ‘The Nations Favourite Dress’.

The result is a charming mix of the fashionable and the traditional. Lace – brought back into popularity two years ago with the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress – was the favoured fabric for almost half of women and appears on most of the dress, including the sleeves and veil.

The beautiful £15,000 dress was unveiled at Brides The Show preview night last Friday.
