I am excitedly writing this post from my LNER seat heading full speed into King Cross having just spent an inspirational few days in Harrogate buying our new 2023 collections. It’s been a whirlwind fun few days with over 300 brands exhibiting, live fashion shows, educational sessions and networking opportunities, making it an unmissable annual destination for all bridal industry professionals. The event combines business and pleasure in a beautiful Yorkshire spa town, it’s a benchmark for the industry and each year retailer’s from all over the world takeover the town as they view the largest collection of bridal gowns in Northern Europe, Australia and New York.
We’ve loved seeing the new and incredible 2023 collections on the catwalks and we would honestly say they are the best we’ve ever seen! If you are a 2023 or 2024 bride you really are a lucky bride! Sleeves are big, slits are dramatic, fabrics are exciting and sparkle is definitely going to be a big theme albeit in a new more subtle shimmering way! There really is something for everyone. We deliberated, we drank Prosecco, we deliberated some more, we reviewed our buy plans and we made some very tough but very exciting decisions!
We can’t give too much away just yet, but it’s safe to say that 2023 is going to be a VERY exciting year for Mathilda Rose and we can’t wait to share more with you soon!
